We are going to develop a website for Pudsey Pets.





Before we start this, we are going to look at some other petshop websites for ideas

http://www.netpetshop.co.uk/ and look at the navigation bar

and http://www.zooplus.co.uk/ and look at their navigation buttons

For each of these, Type the website address do a screenshot and comment on

(1) The Target Audience (adults? children? all ages?)

(2) Positive points (colour? images? animation?)

(3) Negative points (difficult to read? bad colours? moves too quickly?)

Now, design a web advert for Pudsey Pets - where pets come first

Design it on paper first

Include images and maybe an animation

Use Fireworks to make it

Take screenshots when you are making it

(1) Use http://www.google.co.uk/ and http://www.yahoo.co.uk/ to search for pet images on websites

(2) Store details of the best 5 websites you used in a table

WEBSITE ADDRESS - IMAGE FOUND - TRUSTWORTHY SITE?

(3) Take screenshots of everything you do!

(4) Create a folder called OCR PUDSEY and inside it create another folder called IMAGES

(5) Store the images of pets inside this folder
